Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We understand luau events are a significant investment. We offer flexible payment schedules — typically a deposit to hold the date, a mid-point payment, and the balance due before the event. Contact us to discuss a plan that works for your budget.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms are outlined in your event contract. Generally, cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a partial refund of the deposit. We also offer rescheduling options when possible. We recommend reviewing your contract or contacting us directly for specifics.

What types of Polynesian entertainment do you offer?

How long is a typical luau show?

Show durations range from 1 to 4 hours depending on your package. A standard show is 1.5–2 hours and includes multiple acts with cultural narration. Longer shows add more performers, additional dances, audience participation segments, and extended fire knife performances.

Can guests participate in the show?

Absolutely! Audience participation is one of the highlights of a South Bay Luau. Guests are invited to learn hula, try the ipu drum, and join in cultural activities. Our performers are experienced at engaging all ages — from keiki (children) to kupuna (elders).

Do you offer fire knife dancing? Is it safe?

Yes — fire knife (Samoan siva afi) is one of our most requested acts. Safety is our top priority: our performers are professionally trained and carry full liability insurance. We coordinate with your venue to ensure proper clearance, fire safety equipment is on-site, and all local fire codes are followed.

Do you cook your own whole roasted pig (lechon)?

Yes — this is one of our signature offerings and a true luau centerpiece. We cook authentic whole roasted pigs / lechon on-site or off-site depending on your venue. The pig is slow-roasted to perfection and carved tableside for a dramatic, memorable presentation.

We specialize in three cuisine styles: traditional Hawaiian (kalua pig, poi, lomi salmon, haupia), Hawaiian Fusion (modern takes on island classics), and Filipino (lechon, pancit, lumpia, and more). Do you provide serving staff and equipment?

Yes. Our catering packages include professional serving staff, chafing dishes, serving utensils, and all necessary equipment. We set up, serve, and clean up — you just enjoy the feast. Rentals for tables, linens, and tableware can be added as well.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Southern California — including Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, the South Bay beach cities (Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance), the Inland Empire, and the Coachella Valley — as well as Las Vegas, Nevada. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our primary service area.

Can you host a luau at my home or backyard?

Yes! Backyard luaus are one of our specialties. We'll assess your space during the planning process to ensure we can safely set up the stage, sound system, catering area, and décor. We've produced luaus in backyards of all sizes — from intimate 20-person gatherings to 200-guest estate parties.

What venues do you work with?

We work with virtually any venue: private residences, backyards, beaches, parks, hotels, resorts, country clubs, corporate campuses, and event halls. We handle all venue coordination and can recommend preferred venues in your area if needed.

What happens if it rains?

We plan for all weather conditions. For outdoor events, we recommend having a tent or covered area as a backup. We can help arrange tent rentals and will work with you on a rain contingency plan. Indoor venues are always an option if weather is a concern.

How much space do you need for the show?

A standard performance requires a minimum 15×15 ft stage area with at least 10 ft of clearance above for fire acts. We'll confirm exact space requirements during the planning process based on your selected entertainment package.

What décor and design services do you offer?

We offer full luau décor packages including tiki torches, bamboo structures, tropical floral arrangements, centerpieces, lounge furniture, tiki bars, string lighting, themed props, and custom signage. Do you provide leis and traditional Hawaiian welcome items?
